(SENIOR OPEN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP 2024, CARNOUSTIE) 
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that on Monday 15 July 2024, under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, Angus Council made an Order which is effective between 0.01am on Wednesday 24 July 2024 until 11:59pm on Monday 29 July 2024 for purpose of holding the Senior Open Golf Championship.

The effect of this Order is to prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic from waiting at any time on Arbroath Road (South East side): from its junction with Westhaven Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of 145 metres or thereby, Arbroath Road (North side) from its junction with Ireland Street eastwards to a point 25 metres or thereby west Long Row, Arbroath Road (South Side) from its junction with Ireland Street eastwards to a point 10 metres east of its junction with East Row a distance of 40m or thereby, Long Row (both sides) from is junction with Arbroath Road southwestwards for a distance of 100m or thereby Long Row (both sides) for its entire length, Norries Road (both sides) from its junction with Long Road for its entire length, Tayside Street (both sides) from its junction with Station Road for its entire length, Links Parade (north side) from its junction with Station Road west wards for a distance of 250m or thereby, Links Parade (north side) from its junction with Ferrier Street westwards for a distance of 190 metres or thereby Links Parade (both sides) from it junction with Carnoustie Hotel westwards for a distance of 250 metres or thereby. And prohibit any vehicle or cause or permit to be driven in or upon Links Avenue between Links Parade and Taymouth Street and Ferrier Street between Taymouth Street and Links Parade.
