(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C3 Horncliffe House Junction To Longridge Towers Junction Berwick upon Tweed from its junction with the U11 heading in a southerly direction for a length of 63 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 5th August 2024 until the 23rd August 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 5th August 2024 until the 9th August 2024 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 23rd August 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A698, C1, C2, C3 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by GTM to carry out bridge repairs. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
