What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the

Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

MONTAGU ROAD, CONDUIT LANE AND KENNINGHALL ROAD - 4308

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility works

Operational Dates:

25 July 2024 "At Any Time" for 7 Weeks or until works are completed

The general effect of the Order would be to

  • suspend parking on both sides of Montagu Road from its junction with Conduit Lane to its junction with Rays Road.

  • No entry into Montagu Road at its junction with Conduit Lane & Kenninghall Road N18;

  • Compulsory ahead only onto Montagu Road from Conduit Lane N18;

  • Compulsory ahead only from Montagu road onto Conduit Lane N18;

  • compulsory left turn onto Montagu Road from access road fronting 51/53 Montagu Road N18; and

  • compulsory left turn onto Montagu Road N18 from Kenninghall Road.

While these restrictions are in place local diversions will be in operation.

ENFIELD TOWN LIVEABLE NEIGHBOURHOOD - 4309

Reason for 14(1) Order - Highway improvement works

Operational Dates:

24 July 2024 "At Any Time" on a phased basis for a maximum period of 18 Months or until works are completed, whichever is sooner.

The general effect of the Order would be to on a phased basis to implement the following restrictions:

  • close the bus gate at the junction of Cecil Road and Church Street EN2;

  • suspend parking on both sides of the road on Little Park Gardens between Nos. 20 to 32;

  • reverse the one way traffic working on Little Park Gardens from east bound to west bound between Nos 20 to 32;

  • close Little Park Gardens at its eastern arm junction with Church Street EN2;

  • close Church Street from its junction with Cecil Road eastwards for approximately 200 metres; and

  • suspend parking on both sides of church Street from outside the Post Office to outside No. 63b.

while the restrictions are in operation local diversions would be in place and in the case of road closures, access would be maintained for residents only as far as the works allow.

BRIDLEWAY NOS.4 AND 125 AND FOOTPATH NO.3 BETWEEN THE RIDGEWAY EN2 AND STRAYFIELD ROAD EN2 - 4310

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Bridgeworks

Operational Dates:

25 July 2024 between 08:00 hours and 16:00 hours for 1 day or until works are completed; and

15 August 2024 between 08:00 hours and 16:00 hours for 1 day or until works are completed

The general effect of the Order would be to close Bridleways Nos. 4 and 125 and Footpath No. 3 between the junction of the Ridgeway EN2 and Strayfield Road EN2.

While the footpaths and Bridlepaths are closed local diversions would be in operation.

WILLOW ROAD EN1 - 4311

Reason for 14(1) Order -Thames Water works

Operational Dates:

29 July 2024 "At Any Time" for 14 days or until works are completed

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on Willow Road EN1, from outside Nos. 143/145 to the junction of Tenniswood Road EN1.

THE MALL N14 - 4312

Reason for 14(1) Order -Utility works

Operational Dates:

29 July 2024 "At Any Time" for 10 days or until works are completed

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on The Mall N14, from appoint between Nos. 1 to Nos 7/9.

GRAEME ROAD EN1 - 4313

Reason for 14(1) Order -Utility works

Operational Dates:

29 July 2024 "At Any Time" for 4 days or until works are completed

The general effect of the Order would be to close Graeme Road from outside No.1 to its junction with Baker Street. While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.

DYSONS ROAD N18 - 4314

Reason for 14(1) Order -Utility works

Operational Dates:

29 July 2024 "At Any Time" for 1 day or until works are completed

The general effect of the Order would be to close Dysons Road, EN1, from its junction with Ladysmith Road EN1 for approximately 62 metres southwards. While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.
