THE A11 TRUNK ROAD (SNETTERTON INTERCHANGE, NORFOLK) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited(a) has made an Order on the A11 Trunk Road in the County of Norfolk to enable nearby third party communications work be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place over 1 day, during the weekend (9:30am - 3pm), starting on, or after Sunday 28 July 2024. The effect of the Order will be to close the link road between Wyatts Roundabout and Chalk Lane Roundabout at the A11 Snetterton Interchange. Southbound link road traffic will be diverted at Chalk Lane Roundabout via Heath Road and A11 southbound to exit at B1111 Larling Interchange, then join the A11 northbound to exit at Snetterton Interchange. Northbound link road traffic will be diverted via the A11 northbound to exit at Stone Cross Interchange, then join the A11 southbound to exit at Snetterton Interchange then via Heath Road to Chalk Lane Roundabout and continue. The closure (which will not apply to works, emergency service or traffic officer vehicles) and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
The Order will come into force on 22 July 2024 and may continue in force until the works detailed above have been completed, or for a maximum duration of eighteen months, whichever is the earlier.
