ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

GREENMOOR ROAD, HEATH END ROAD AND BULL RING, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic from Chilvers Road roundabout to Croft Road/Arbury Road.
Reason for Order: Phased junction improvement and carriageway resurfacing works.
Greenmoor Rd – 21 Jul to 1 Sep 24.
Greenmoor Rd/Bull Ring (College St)/Heath End Rd – Three weekends, 08.00hrs to 16.00hrs Sat 17/Sun 18 Aug 24, Sat 24/Sun 25 Aug 24, Sat 31 Aug/Sun 1 Sep 24.
Order Commences: 21 July 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 1 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: Weekday diversion – Heath End Road, Arbury Road, Croft Road and vice versa. Weekend diversion – College Street, Chilvers Rise, Coventry Road (RBT), Coton Road, Jubilee Way, Queens Road, Croft Road, Arbury Road and vice versa.

PUBLIC CYCLE LANE VICARAGE STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Cycle Lane closed to ALL traffic from a point outside St Nicholas Church Hall.
Reason for Order: To enable works for disconnection of gas supply from the main.
Order Commences: 26 July 2024 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 30 July 2024.
Access & Diversion: There is no available diversion.

VALE VIEW, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to install ducting in footway and carriageway.
Order Commences: 24 July 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 1 August 2024.
Access & Diversion: Vale View and vice versa.

HILLCREST ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable pipe repair works.
Order Commences: 22 July 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 24 July 2024.
Access & Diversion: Hillcrest Road, Edinburgh Road, Queen Elizabeth Road, Cedar Road, Sycamore Road and vice versa.
Contractor: For STW, Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

CONWY CLOSE, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to renew boundary box and meter.
Order Commences: 7 August 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 August 2024.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.
Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

A444 GRIFF WAY AND BEDWORTH BYPASS, NUNEATON
Order Effect: A 30 mph Speed Restriction will be imposed as follows:
A444 Griff Way – North and Southbound carriageways between Eliot Way Island (George Eliot Hospital) and Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road).
A444 Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road) – in its entirety.
A444 Bedworth Bypass – North & Southbound carriageways between Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road) and Walsingham Drive Roundabout.
Reason for Order: For the safety of all road users and of the contractors working on carriageway resurfacing and associated works.
Order Commences: 8 August 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 8 September 2024

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
