The above order, made on 4 July 2024, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, as shown on the order maps will divert:
Footpath 2 Kelvedon Hatch
A part length of Footpath 2 Kelvedon Hatch of unknown width shown by a bold continuous line on the order map commencing from a point located on a farm track north east of farm buildings running in a generally south westerly then south south easterly direction along a farm track and through an outbuilding and grassed area for a total distance of 228 metres to a point where it meets the headland where it continues unaffected, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing at the aforementioned start point running in a south easterly direction along a field access for a distance of 17 metres to a point located at the field edge where it continues in a south westerly direction along the field edge for a final distance of 209 metres to the aforementioned end point where it continues unaffected.
Bridleway 1 Kelvedon Hatch

A part length of Bridleway 1 Kelvedon Hatch of unknown width shown by a bold continuous line on the order map commencing from a point located on a track close to the south west corner of a pond running in a south easterly direction through vegetation, across a grassed area and through ponds for a total distance of 568 metres to a point by a field entrance where it continues unaffected, to an alternative route 3 metres in width commencing at the aforementioned start point running in a south westerly then south easterly direction along a farm track for a distance of 591 metres to a point at the junction of two farm tracks continuing in a north easterly direction along a field edge for a final distance of 48 metres to the aforementioned end point where it continues unaffected.

Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-4.30pm Mon-Fri at Essex County Council, County Hall, E block main reception, Market Road, Chelmsford if so required following the current social distancing restrictions. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Robert Lee, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH not later than 15 August 2024. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.

(Footpath 19, Kelvedon Hatch) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 19, Kelvedon Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 47 metres Southeast of Broad Meadow, for approximately 115 metres southeast.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 01 August 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while construction works are undertaken.

The alternative route will be via a path around the perimeter of the site.

The Order will come into effect on 01 August 2024 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Alexander Lane, Shenfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Alexander Lane, Shenfield in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 70m south east of its junction with Chelmsford Road for a distance of approximately 560m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2361544 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage defect works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Alexander Lane, Chelmsford Road, Oliver Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 24th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Bird Lane, Little Warley/Great Warley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bird Lane, Little Warley/Great Warley in the Borough of Brentwood, from the junction with Magpie Lane to the junction with Great Warley Street a distance of approximately 910m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2365703/EP201EH2367645 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sign and bollard works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Great Warley Street, Warley Road, Warley Gap, Bird Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 24th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Road, Kelvedon Hatch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Kelvedon Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 75m east of its junction with Beacon Hill Road for a distance of approximately 60m in an easterly direction. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th August 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA001WFLFV18L – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while poling works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Church Road, Beacon Hill Road, Dudbrook Road, Princes Road, Navestock Side, Crown Road, Ongar Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 24th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Chelmsford Road, Blackmore) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chelmsford Road, Blackmore in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 10m west of its junction with Spriggs Lane for a distance of approximately 125m in a westerly direction. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th July 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30059595994 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Chelmsford Road, The Green, Nine Ashes Road, Rookery Road, King Street, Chelmsford Road Straightening, Ongar Road, Ongar Road West, Highwood Road Roundabout and vice versa (with access only into Highwood Road, The Causeway, Highwood Road, Loves Green, Blackmore Road and Chelmsford Road).
The Order came into effect on 10th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hall Lane, Shenfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hall Lane, Shenfield in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 135m north west then north east of its junction with Shenfield Place for a distance of approximately 40m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th July 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M102055 – Essex And Suffolk Water). 

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water leak works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

An alternative route is available via Hall Lane, Shenfield Road, Ongar Road, Doddinghurst Road, Hall Lane and vice versa (with access only to Hall Lane).

The Order came into effect on 10th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Highland Avenue/Sawyers Hall Lane, Brentwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) & (Highland Avenue, Brentwood) 
(Temporary Suspension of One Way) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Highland Avenue, Brentwood in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Sawyers Hall Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in a south westerly direction.

2. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in that length of Highland Avenue, Brentwood in the Borough of Brentwood from its junction with Treetops to its junction with Sawyers Hall Lane as detailed in ‘District of Brentwood (Highland Avenue/Burland Road) (One Way Traffic And Waiting Restrictions) Order 1977’ for the duration of the above closure only.

3. To temporarily close that length of Sawyers Hall Lane, Brentwood in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 60m north west of its junction with Burland Road for a distance of approximately 150m in a north westerly direction.

4. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ in the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures only.

“The Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The closures/restrictions/suspension are scheduled to commence on 29th July 2024 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2363869/EP201EH2363869A – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures/ restrictions/suspension are required for the safety of the public and workforce while raised table installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Sawyers Hall Lane, Shenfield Road, Ongar Road, Ongar Road Roundabout, Highland Avenue and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 10th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Kelvedon Hall Lane, Kelvedon Hatch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kelvedon Hall Lane, Kelvedon Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 420m south west of its junction with Ongar Road for a distance of approximately 780m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2361937 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Kelvedon Hall Lane, Kelvedon Hall Road, Church Road, Ongar Road, Kelvedon Hall Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 10th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Warley Gap, Little Warley/Clive Road, Great Warley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Warley Gap, Little Warley in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Clive Road for a distance of approximately 135m in a north westerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Clive Road, Great Warley in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Warley Gap for a distance of approximately 20m in a north easterly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 29th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2367834 & EP201EH2360889 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Clive Road, Eagle Way, Warley Road, Warley Gap and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 10th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Weald Road, South Weald) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Weald Road, South Weald in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 80m west of its junction with Wigley Bush Lane for a distance of approximately 100m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th July 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30009482313 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree trimming works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via High Street, Shenfield Road, Ongar Road, Coxtie Green Road, and vice versa (with access only into Weald Road).

The Order came into effect on 10th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
