ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Northmoor, Standlake Road

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 15/07/2024

Coming into force: 24/07/2024

This Order is being introduced because of structural repair works to Clacks Bridge deck which is anticipated to be completed on 2 September 2024.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the Northmoor to Standlake Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via A415 (Abingdon Road) - Brighthampton -B4449 - Stanton Harcourt - Standlake Road.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T13900/RAG)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Woodstock, Begbroke, Kidlington (A44)

Date of Order: 15/07/2024

Coming into force: 22/07/2024

This Order is being introduced for public safety because of traffic management requirements for the Blenheim Palace Game Fair 2024 which runs until 29 July.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily reduce the 50 & 60mph speed limits to 30 mph on the A44 from Blenheim Palace to the Begbroke roundabout. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

The relevant pars of the Oxfordshire County Council (A44 Oxford to Woodstock Road) (Speed Limits) Order 2023 will be temporarily suspended. (Ref: T14108/RAG
