What is happening?

THE FIFE COUNCIL

(PITTENWEEM ARTS FESTIVAL) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024

Fife Council has made an Order under the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984:-

(i)   Prohibiting the waiting of vehicular traffic on the roads detailed in Schedule 1 below; and

(ii)  Prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic of the roads detailed in Schedule 2 below.

The Order is to allow the Pittenweem Arts Festival to take place and to ensure the free flow of vehicular traffic in the village and will be in operation from 00:01 on 02/08/24 until 23:59 on 11/08/24. Alternative parking for residents will be provided within Pittenweem Primary School grounds. Parking facilities for the Festival will be provided at the playing fields (access via David St). Viewforth Pl (both sides); Tollcross (both sides); James St (both sides); Milton Pl (both sides); David St (both sides); Lady Wynd (both sides); Charles St (east side); South Loan (west side); Charles St (west side from Tollcross northerly for 190m); Charles St (west side from 15m south of the centreline of Station Ct northerly for 30m); West Braes (both sides from University Ave to West Braes Car Park); University Ave (both sides from Viewforth Pl to West Braes); St. Abbs Cres (both sides from Milton Pl southerly for 50m); Braehead Rd (both sides from Abbeywall Rd easterly for 60m); A917 (both sides between boundary signs for Pittenweem and Anstruther); and Pittenweem Rd (both sides easterly for 150m)
