What is happening?
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (TEMPLE GUITING PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule below.
The reason for the closures is for tree cutting works.
The roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing 15th July 2024, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking effect. This order can permit the closure of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 17th July 2024. TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401009 TETBURY ROAD TO EWEN (KEMBLE & EWEN PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as a traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401009 Tetbury Road to Ewen from its junction with Kemble Road to outside the property known as 'Three Ways' for a distance of approximately 1.275 metres.
The reason for the closure is to carry out Structural Maintenance to Historic Railway Estates Structure.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF C371 CIRENCESTER ROAD (TETBURY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C371 Cirencester Road from outside the property known as 'Radnor House' to outside the property known as 'Oak Villa' for a distance of approximately 69 metres. The reason for the closure is for new water connection works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (MORETON IN MARSH PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule below.
The reason for the said closures is for gas mains replacement works.
The roads are expected to be closed from the 22nd July 2024 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required until the works are completed. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF 401002 LEAFIELD ROAD FAIRFORD TO CHURCH ROAD QUENINGTON (FAIRFORD TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401002 Leafield Road Fairford to Church Road Quenington from its junction with Church Road to outside the property known as 'Pump House' for a distance of approximately 1606 metres. The reason for the said closure is for water pipe repair works.

This order can permit the closure of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 13th April 2025. NOTICE RE; s53 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 THE DEFINITIVE MAP & STATEMENT OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY FOR GLOUCESTERSHIRE ADDITIONAL RESTRICTED BYWAY AT WILDMOORWAY LANE AND UPGRADING PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH BSC20 TO RESTRICTED BYWAY, PARISH OF SOUTH CERNEY, MODIFICATION ORDER 2024
On 2 July 2024, the Gloucestershire County Council confirmed the above-named Order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding the following length of restricted byway and by upgrading part of Public Footpath BSC20 at Wildmoorway Lane, Parish of South Cerney:
A length of restricted byway along part of Wildmoorway Lane in the Parish of South Cerney, Gloucestershire, which commences at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference ("OSGR") SU 0591/ 9710 and runs in a generally easterly direction for approximately 320 metres, then proceeds in a generally east north-easterly direction for approximately 135 metres to (OSGR) SU 0635/ 9712, at a crossing over the River Churn, and having a width of between 4 and 10 metres;
And upgrading a part of Public Footpath BSC20 to Restricted Byway, which commences at (OSGR) SU 0635/ 9712 and runs in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 340 metres, then proceeds in a generally easterly direction for approximately 510 metres crossing Wildmoorway Bridge to (OSGR) SU 0713/ 9725, and having a width of 30 feet. The Order comes into force on the 2 July 2024 but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provisions contained therein, on the ground that it is not in the powers of Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 ("the Act") or on the ground that any requirement in Schedule 15 of the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order he or she may under paragraph 12(1) of the said Schedule 15 within 42 days from the date that this notice is published make an application for the purpose to the High Court.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF 400957 CHURCH STREET (MEYSEY HAMPTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400957 Church Street from its junction with High Street to outside the property known as ' Villars Farm', for a distance of approximately 33 metres. The reason for the said closure is for sewer repair works.
