Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA
B2160 Maidstone Road & B2160 Gedges Hill, Paddock Wood (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water main replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2160 Maidstone Road & B2160 Gedges Hill, Paddock Wood, on or after 23rd July 2024 for up to 44 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junction of Chantlers Hill and Lymons Bank Farm, between the hours of 07:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and 08:00 to 16:00 on Saturdays. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2160 Gedges Hill, B2160 Maidstone Road, A21 Hastings Road, A21 Pembury Bypass, A21 Exit to A228 Pembury Road, A228 Pembury Road, A228 Pembury Northern Bypass, A228 Maidstone Road, A228 Colts Hill, B2017 Badsell Road, B2160 Maidstone Road and vice versa.
B2162 School Hill, Lamberhurst, TN3 8HY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2162 School Hill, Lamberhurst, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Holly House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2162 School Hill, B2162 Horsmonden Road, A21 Forstal Farm Roundabout, A21 Lamberhurst Bypass, B2169 Hastings Road, B2162 Spray Hill, B2162 High Street, B2162 The Broadway, B2162 School Hill and vice versa.
Bramble Reed Lane, Matfield (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow fire hydrant replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bramble Reed Lane, Matfield, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Foxella. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bramble Reed Lane, B2160 Maidstone Road, Chestnut Lane, Foxhole Lane and vice versa.
Castle Street, Southborough, TN4 0SQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new meter installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Castle Street, Southborough, on or after 22nd July 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Hawthorn Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Castle Street, Sheffield Road, A26 London Road, Pennington Road and vice versa.
Chantlers Hill, Paddock Wood, TN12 6NA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water main replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chantlers Hill, Paddock Wood, on or after 23rd July 2024 for up to 44 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Wellstreade Cottage and the junction of Gedges Hill, between the hours of 07:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and 08:00 to 16:00 on Saturdays. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Chantlers Hill, B2160 Gedges Hill, B2160 Maidstone Road, Coppers Lane, Brenchley Road, Blind Lane, Pixot Hill, Mile Oak Road, Mascalls Court Lane, Mascalls Court Road and vice versa.
Clayhill Road, Lamberhurst, TN3 8LS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow frame and cover repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Clayhill Road, Lamberhurst, on or after 22nd July 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction of Mount Pleasant. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Clayhill Road, A21 Lamberhurst Quarter, A21 Lamberhurst By-pass, B2162 Horsmonden Road, B2162 School Hill, B2162 The Broadway, B2100 High Street, B2100 Town Hill, B2100 The Slade, B2169 The Down, B2169 Furnace Lane, Clayhill Road and vice versa.
Dingleden, Benenden (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dingleden, Benenden, on or after 9th August 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of B2086 Rolvenden Road to Woodcock Lane, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2086 Rolvenden Road, B2086 The Street, Iden Green Road, Standen Street, Woodcock Lane and vice versa.
Harmony Street, Rusthall, TN4 8NU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Harmony Street, Rusthall, on or after 25th July 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Woodside Road to The Toad Rock Retreat, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Harmony Street, Rusthall Road, Bretland Road, Grange Road and vice versa.
Hawkenbury Road, Frant (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hawkenbury Road, Frant, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Palmers Lodge to Hunters Lodge, between the hours of 09:30 and 16:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hawkenbury Road, Benhall Mill Road, Forest Road, Boundary Road, Hawkenbury Road and vice versa.
Lower Green Road, Rusthall, TN3 0NA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow remedial works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lower Green Road, Rusthall, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 131. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lower Green Road, Etherington Hill, Speldhurst Road, A26 St Johns Road, A26 Mount Ephraim, A264 Mount Ephraim, A264 Bishops Down, A264 Langton Road, Coach Road, Rusthall Road, Lower Green Road and vice versa.
Marden Road, Cranbrook (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Marden Road, Cranbrook, on or after 7th August 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Thie Cheerey to the junction of Colliers Green Road, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Marden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, Colliers Green Road and vice versa.
Major Yorks Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN2 5SA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & PROHIBITION OF PARKING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow drainage improvement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Major Yorks Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 22nd July 2024 for up to 54 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Hungershall Park and A26 Eridge Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
A prohibition of parking will be in place on Major Yorks Road from the junction of Hungershall Park and A26 Eridge Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Major Yorks Road, A264 Bishops Down, A264 Mount Ephraim, A264 Church Road, A26 London Road, A26 Eridge Road and vice versa.
Oak Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN2 3AL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow remedial works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Oak Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 6th August 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Brook Road and Sandhurst Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Oak Road, Brook Road, Sandhurst Road, Oak Road and vice versa.
Waterman Lane, Paddock Wood, TN12 6LT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water main replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Watermans Lane, Paddock Wood, on or after 23rd July 2024 for up to 44 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction of Chantlers Hill. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Chantlers Hill, Mascalls Court Road, Mascalls Court Lane, Mile Oak Road, Watermans Lane and vice versa.
