Sevenoaks, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,  makes or intends to make the following Orders.

SEVENOAKS AREA

Black Eagle Close, Westerham, TN16 1SE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Black Eagle Close, Westerham, on or after 22nd July 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside numbers 60 to 62.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.

 

Bullfinch Lane, Riverhead, TN13 2DY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of gas mains replacement, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Bullfinch Lane, Riverhead, on or after 22nd July 2024 for up to 42 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed for the entire length.

The alternative route is via A224 London Road, A25 London Road, A25 The Square, A25 Worships Hill, Witches Lane and vice versa.

 

Eynsford Road, Crockenhill, BR8 8LB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Eynsford Road, Crockenhill, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed adjacent to Gosenhill Farm.

The alternative route is via Eynsford Road, Wested Lane, B2173 London Road/High Street, B258 Goldsel Road/Green Court Road/Broadway, Main Road and vice versa.

 

Hale Oak Road, Sevenoaks Weald, TN14 6NQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hale Oak Road, Sevenoaks Weald, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 19 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from Brook Cottage to development site.

The alternative route is via Hale Oak Road, B2027 Tonbridge Road, Bore Place Road, Baileys Hill Road, Bowzell Green, Bowzell Road, Hale Oak Road and vice versa.

 

Hopgarden Lane, Sevenoaks, TN13 1PW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of the replacement of a fire hydrant, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hopgarden Lane, Sevenoaks, on or after 7th August 2024 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Christmas Croft.

The alternative route is via Grassy Lane, Burntwood Road, Ashgrove Road, Hopgarden Lane and vice versa.

 

Horton Road, Horton Kirby, DA4 9BS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of a new electricity connection, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Horton Road, Horton Kirby, on or after 22nd July 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed adjacent to the entrance for the Field Study Centre.

The alternative route is via Station Road, A225 Dartford Road, A20 London Road, Eglantine Lane, Lombard Street, The Street, Horton Road and vice versa.

 

Little Norman Street, Ide Hill, TN14 6BG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Little Norman Street, Ide Hill, on or after 22nd July 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Sundridge Road and Penn Lane.

The alternative route is via Little Norman Street, Norman Street, Sundridge Road and vice versa.

 

New Road, Hextable, BR8 7LN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of New Road, Hextable, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from outside 14 to Egerton Avenue.

The alternative route is via College Road, B258 Main Road, Egerton Avenue and vice versa.

 

Park Lane, Godden Green, TN15 0JS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of a new electricity supply, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Park Lane, Godden Green, on or after 25th July 2024 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Cherry Tree Cottages.

The alternative route is via Bitchet Green Road, Stone Street Road, Hall Hill, Grove Road, Park Lane and vice versa.

 

Penshurst Road, Leigh, TN11 8HU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of drainage works to replace culvert, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Penshurst Road, Leigh, on or after 5th August 2024 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from Cinder Hill Lane to Station Hill.

The alternative route is via Penshurst Road, B2176 Station Hill, B2176 Moorden Lane, B2027 Tonbridge Road, Penshurst Lane and vice versa.

 

Pilgrims Way, Kemsing, TN15 6XB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way, Kemsing, on or after 23rd July 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The Conies.

The alternative route is via Cotmans Ash Lane, Heaverham Road, High Street, West End, The Landway and vice versa.

 

Puddledock Lane, Hextable, BR8 7RT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of SGN works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Puddledock Lane, Hextable, on or after 24th July 2024 for up to 27 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between B258 Top Dartford Road and Rowhill Road.

The alternative route is via B258 Top Dartford Road, St Davids Road, Puddledock Lane and vice versa.

 

Styants Bottom Road, Seal, TN15 0ES (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Styants Bottom Road, Seal, on or after 6th August 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Chart Oast.

The alternative route is via Styants Bottom Road, Pillar Box Lane, A25 Maidstone Road, Watery Lane and vice versa.

 

Valley Road, Fawkham, DA3 8NA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of sewer cleaning, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Valley Road, Fawkham, on or after 7th August 2024 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Speedgate Hill and Manor Lane.

The alternative route is via Fawkham Road, B260 Main Road, Hartley Road, Ash Road, Chapel Wood Road, Ash Road, The Street, South Ash Lane, Stansted Lane, A20, Fawkham Road, Brands Hatch Road and vice versa.
