Swindon, Multiple Roads, Temporary Prohibitions & Restrictions Due To Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL
SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ORDERS FOR TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES FOR SBC RESURFACING WORKS
Notice is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL intend to make following orders:
(STR000804 C5 Hook Street, Swindon) Hook Street between Bess Road and Windmill Roundabout.
Traffic to be diverted via Windmill Hill Roundabout to Blagrove Roundabout, to J16 Roundabout to Coped Hall Roundabout, up C14 M4 Overbridge to the junction with Hook Street. The Order comes into force on the 8 August 2024 for 18 months but it is anticipated the works will take place on the 8 and 9 August 2024.
(STR000805 Boscombe Road, Moredon) Poole Road and Boscombe Road between No's 3 to 57.
Traffic to be diverted via Cheddar Road, Abbey View Road, Wickdown Road and vice versa.
The Order comes into force on the 12 August 2024 for 18 months but it is anticipated the works will take place on the 12 and 13 August 2024.
(STR000806 Dawlish Road, Park North) Dawlish Road - Entire length
Traffic to be diverted via Shaftesbury Avenue, Midhurst Avenue, Welcombe Avenue, Honiton Road and vice versa.
The Order comes into force on the 6 August 2024 for 18 months but it is anticipated the works will take place on the 6 August 2024.
(STR000807 Ferndale Road, Swindon) Ferndale Road outside Oxford Brookes Campus.
Traffic to be diverted via Northern Road, Beech Avenue, Pinehurst Road and St Marys Grove. The Order comes into force on the 2 August 2024 for 18 months but it is anticipated the works will take place on the 2 August 2024.
(STR000808 Gooch Street, Swindon) Gooch Street between Station Road and Gladstone Street.
Traffic to be diverted via Station Road, Gladstone Street and Corporation Street. The Order comes into force on the 30 July 2024 for 18 months but it is anticipated the works will take place on the 30 July to 1 August 2024.
(STR000809 Huntley Close, Walcot) Huntley Close - Entire Length
Access to be maintained. The Order comes into force on the 5 August 2024 for 18 months but it is anticipated the works will take place on the 5 August 2024.
(STR000810 Inverary Road, Wroughton) Inverary Road from the junction with Perry's Lane up to Wroughton Junior School.
Traffic to be diverted via Perry's Lane, Wharf Road, Kellsboro Avenue, Maskeleyne Road, Boness Road and Dunbar Road. The Order comes into force on the 26 July 2024 for 18 months but it is anticipated the works will take place on the 29 July 2024.
(STR000811 Markam Close, Walcot) Markham Close - Entire Length
ACCESS TO BE MAINTAINED. The Order comes into force on the 5 August 2024 for 18 months but it is anticipated the works will take place on the 5 August 2024.
(STR000812 Shakespeare Path, Stratton) Shakespeare Path located between Meadowcroft and Ruskin Avenue.
Traffic to be diverted via Ruskin Avenue, Meadowcroft and vice versa. The Order comes into force on the 7 August 2024 for 18 months but it is anticipated the works will take place on the 7 August 2024. Strategic Transport 12 July 2024
