NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO MAKE VARIATION TO EXISTING PARKING PLACES ORDER
Rushcliffe Borough Council Off-Street Parking Places Variation Order (No.1) 2024.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Rushcliffe Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 35(1) and 35(3) and 35C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Regulation 25 of the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 (SI 1996/2489) and of all other enabling powers propose to make amendment to the Rushcliffe Borough Council (Civil Enforcement Off-street Parking Places) Order 2020 hereto within.

The Proposed Variation Order relates to amendment of the Principle off-street parking places Order provided by the Council at the location listed in the Schedule of Parking Places and Charges below and is intended to come into operation on Monday 30 September 2024 (or as soon as possible thereafter).

The effect of this notice of proposal is to make variation to: PART X of said principle Order:

1. Amend the schedule of parking places, Bingham, Market Place, Plan ref: MPB7, Category C Column Seven, current provision of a maximum period for which a vehicle may wait, maximum stay 2 hours and the no return within 2 hours. To be amended to the following: Bingham, Market Place, Plan ref: MPB7, Category C amended to: Between 8am and 6pm 30 minutes’ maximum stay and no return within 1 hour of leaving the parking place.

2. Amend the schedule of parking places, Bingham, Market Place, Plan ref: MPMDB8, Category D1 Column Seven, current permitted permit provision between 06:00 and 16:00 hours with a valid permit on market days. To be amended to the following: Bingham, Market Place, Plan ref: MPMDB8, Category D1 amended to a permit parking provision between midnight and 10:00am on market days

This Notice of Variation to parking places order will make variation to PART X only, the schedule of parking places, the parking place listed below and detailed in the Schedule of Parking Places contained within the Rushcliffe Borough Council (Civil Enforcement Off-street Parking Places) Order 2020.

The Proposed Variation Order will come into force on Monday 30th September 2024.

Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Proposed Variation Order are available for inspection on Monday to Thursday between the hours of 08:45 and 16:45 and on Fridays between the hours of 08:45 and 16:15

Any person may object or make representations relating to the making of the Proposed Variation Order by Monday 12th August 2024.

Objections and representations must be made in writing, stating the grounds on which they are made and must be sent for the attention of the Executive Manager - Neighbourhoods, Rushcliffe Borough Council, Rushcliffe Arena, Rugby Road, Nottingham NG27 YGB or at the Council’s website
