The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cover replacement works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Marksbury Avenue, Richmond.
Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Marksbury Avenue, Richmond from the junction with Chilton Avenue to the junction with Lower Richmond Road.
The order will come into effect on 23 July 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times on the 23 July 2024 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Niton Road and Chilton Road and vice versa.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
Nothing in the Order applies to: (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Tudor Road from the side of 89 Ormond Avenue to the junction with Station Road.
The order will come into effect on 22 July 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times on the 22 July to 26 July 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available East bound, Ormond Avenue, Ormond Crescent, Ormond Drive, Gloucester Road, Wensleydale Road, and Tudor Road, and West bound, Percy Road, Ashley Road, and Tudor Road.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

The order will come into effect on 22 July 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times on the 22 July to 29 July 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

Proposed Removal of Speed Cushions and Provision of Road Humps
Cole Park Road, Twickenham

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames proposes to remove road humps known as speed cushions and provide sinusoidal road humps in Cole Park Road, Twickenham.
The proposed sinusoidal road humps will be located in Cole Park Road, outside numbers 1A, 3, 21, 27, 34, 46, 48, 59, 62, and 70 Cole Park Road. Each hump will be 3.4 metres in length, with a height of 75mm at its highest point and extending across the full width of the carriageway.
A drawing showing the proposed design will be available for public inspection, quoting reference 24/128, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays.
Persons wishing to make representations regarding proposals should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection.
