What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (AMENDMENT No. *) ORDER 202 LONSDALE ROAD, BARNES (Reference 24/130)
The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The general effect of the Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions operating at any time, in lengths of Lonsdale Road, Barnes between its junction with Gerard Road and Walnut Tree Close.
Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 24/130, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council’s web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices
Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 28 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (AMENDMENT No. *) ORDER 202
FIFE ROAD, EAST SHEEN AND STAR AND GARTER HILL, RICHMOND (Reference 24/131)
The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The general effect of the Orders will be to: -
(a) introduce waiting restrictions operating at any time at the junction of Fife Road and Sheen Gate;
(b) introduce a trader pitch on the south side of Fife Road in the vicinity of Sheen Gate;
(c) introduce a trader pitch on Star and Garter Hill in the vicinity of Richmond Gate.
The trader permits will operate between 7am and 10pm daily.

The general effect of the Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions operating at any time, in lengths of the following roads:- (a) Riverside Drive, Ham; (b) Ashburnham Road at its junction with Riverside Drive; (c) The entrance to the Thames Young Marines Centre; (d) Ham Street at its junction with Riverside Drive, Ham; and (e) Hardwicke Road at its junction with Riverside Drive, Ham.

Temporary Road Closure
Beaulieu Close, Twickenham.

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cover replacement works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Beaulieu Close, Twickenham.
Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Beaulieu Close, Twickenham from the junction with Haversham Close.
The order will come into effect on 23 July 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times on the 23 July 2024 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
Nothing in the Order applies to: (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer replacement works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Cleveland Gardens, Barnes.
Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Cleveland Gardens, Barnes outside numbers 46-50.
The order will come into effect on 22 July 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times from the 22 July 2024 to 02 August 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Cleveland Road, Grove Road and Terrace Gardens and vice versa.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
Nothing in the Order applies to: (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Road Closure Hounslow Road & Temporary Parking Restrictions Various Roads

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in various streets.
Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or exit:
- Park Avenue Road closed at the junction with Hounslow Road - 12/08/2024 to 01/09/2024
- Kneller Road, Road closed at the junction with Hounslow Road - 29/07/2024 to 12/08/2024
- Whitton Dene Road Closed at the junction with Hounslow Road - 12/08/2024 to 01/09/2024
Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in the roads detailed in the schedule, between the dates indicated. The restrictions will operate on a rolling basis unless otherwise stated.
The order will come into effect on 22 July 2024. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 22 July 2024 until 13 September 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
Nothing in the Order applies to: (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or (c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water connection works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Kingston Road, Teddington.
Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in the bays located outside and opposite 173-191 Kingston Road, Teddington.
The order will come into effect on 23 July 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 23 July 2024 until 26 July 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
