THE OLDHAM - FOOTPATH OFF DEN LANE UPPERMILL TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2024

The Oldham Borough Council on 15th July 2024 made a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along that part of Footpath off Den Lane Uppermill that starts approximately 300 metres north of Moorgate Street and ends 80 metres in a northerly direction.

The alternative route is via the track located at the northerly end of the footpath that travels southerly and meets Dark Lane & 209 Saddleworth and on to Moorgate Street.

The Order is to be made to allow Network Rail track works and will be in force 2 months from 15th July 2024, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
