(Temporary Prohibition Of Driving) Order 2024 (BX24-091)
Notice Is Hereby Given that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Beeston in the Borough of (Broxtowe).
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of roads as listed in paragraph 3.
2. Vehicles are prohibited from Waiting, Loading and Unloading (Both sides at any time) in the following length of roads as listed in paragraph 3.
3. Sidney Road, Beeston - From its junction with Wollaton Road in a South Westerly direction for a distance of 50 metres.
Dennison Street, Beeston - From its junction with Wollaton Road in a South Westerly direction for a distance of 50 metres.
Fellows Road - From its junction with Wollaton Road in a South Westerly direction for a distance of 50 metres.
Bramcote Drive, Beeston - From its junction with Wollaton Road in a South Westerly direction for a distance of 50 metres.
Wollaton Crescent, Beeston - From its junction with Wollaton Road in a North Easterly direction for a distance of 50 metres.
Wollaton Road, Beeston - From its junction with Sidney Road in a North westerly direction for a distance of 190 metres.
Clifford Avenue, Beeston - From its junction with Wollaton Road in a North Easterly direction for a distance of 50 metres.
Farfield Avenue, Beeston - From its junction with Wollaton Road in a North Easterly direction for a distance of 50 metres.
Anderson Crescent, Beeston - From its junction with Wollaton Road in a North Easterly direction for a distance of 50 metres.
Beeston Fields Drive, Beeston (Southern Spur) - From its junction with Wollaton Road in a North Easterly direction for a distance of 50 metres.
Dennis Avenue, Beeston - From its junction with Wollaton Road in a North Easterly direction for a distance of 50 metres.
Hillside Road, Beeston - From its junction with Wollaton Road in a Westerly direction for a distance of 50 metres.
Wollaton Road, Beeston -From its junction with A52 Derby Road to its junction with Hillside Road.
4. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
5. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
It Is Intended that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: From 08:00 hours on Monday 22nd July 2024 Until 18:00 hours on Sunday 3rd November 2024 inclusive.
And Notice Is Hereby Further Given that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be: As signed on site.
The Order will come into force on 22nd July 2024 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable Cadent Gas to carry out Gas Mains Replacement scheme works.
