Victoria Road, Wolverhampton - Temporary Road Closure

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (VICTORIA ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Victoria Road from its junction with Cannock Road to its junction with Bushbury Road. Access/Egress to frontages and to Bickford Road maintained. The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 22 July 2024 until 30 August 2024. The diversion route is: Bushbury Road, Cannock Road and vice versa. The Order is required to facilitate a complex gas mains replacement scheme by Cadent.
