Beck Crescent - Temporary Prohibition Of Driving For Build A Bioswale And A Verge Raingarden
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(BECK CRESCENT, MANSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024 (M24-110)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Mansfield in the District of Mansfield.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road:
a. Beck Crescent, Mansfield - From its junction with Brown Street in an easterly direction for a distance of 150 metres
2 Vehicles are prohibited from Waiting, Loading and Uploading (Both sides) (at any time) in the following length of road
b. Beck Crescent, Mansfield - From its junction with Brown Street in an easterly direction for a distance of 150 metres
2. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
3. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: From 08:30 hours Monday 22nd July 2024 Until 17:00 hours Friday 27th September 2024
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be: Beck Crescent - Brown Street - Beck Crescent and vice versa
The Order will come into force on Monday 22nd July 2024 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out.
The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable Keir on behalf of Severn Trent Water to build a bioswale and a verge raingarden.
