What is happening?
The North East Lincolnshire Borough Council
(Prohibition of Waiting) (Various Streets - Scartho, Grimsby) (No. 23-34) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that on 11th July 2024 North East Lincolnshire Borough Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order under powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to: -
1. Introduce “24 Hour Prohibition of Waiting” restrictions at the following locations:
- Beech Avenue junction with Scartho Road, Grimsby
- Limetree Avenue junction with Scartho Road, Grimsby
- Frusher Avenue junction with Scartho Road, Grimsby
- Antrim Way junction with Edge Avenue, Grimsby
- Lisburn Grove junction with Edge Avenue, Grimsby
- Lisburn Grove, Grimsby (in part)
2. Extend the current “24 Hour Prohibition of Waiting” restrictions at the following locations:
- Charles Avenue junction with Edge Avenue, Grimsby
- Edge Avenue, Grimsby (in part)
The Order will come into force on the 15th July 2024.

If any person wishes to challenge the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
