What is happening?

The Leicestershire County Council
(Various Roads, District Of Blaby) Consolidation Order 2022
(A4114 Junction Of Fosse Way And Layby, Coventry Road, Sapcote) (Amendment 7) Order 202

The Leicestershire County Council Hereby Gives Notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be:

1. To impose A No Waiting at Any Time restriction on part of Fosse Way, Sapcote and Layby off B4114 Southbound Coventry Road, Sapcote

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan illustrating the proposals and an explanatory statement giving the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at my offices, Room 200, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA at the offices of Blaby District Council, Desford Road, Leicester LE19 2EP and Harborough District Council, Adam & Eve Street, Market Harborough LE16 7AG and on the notice boards of Sapcote and Broughton Astley Parish Council.

Documents can also be viewed online at https://www.leicestershire.gov.uk/roads-and-travel/cars-and-parking/traffic-management-consultations Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by not later than 2nd August 2024, quoting reference JM/HTWMT/5757.
