Bournemouth, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Gas Works
What is happening?
BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND POOLE COUNCIL
BROADWAY LANE, BOURNEMOUTH - GAS MAIN INSTALLATION WORKS TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT: Road closed to all vehicles and no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time
WHERE:
- Broadway Lane, from the junction of Careys Road to the property boundary of nos. 84/86.
- Shillingstone Drive, closed at its junction with Broadway Lane.
WHY:
To enable SGN to carry out gas main installation worksWHEN: Anticipated dates: 22nd July 2024 until 6th September 2024
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
DIVERSION:
- Broadway Lane - via Taylor Drive, Throop Road, Woodbury Avenue and Castle Lane West
- Shillingstone Drive - access/exit via Muscliffe Lane only

https://one.network/?tm=139116363These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.
