What is happening?

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
Derby City Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY ONE WAY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON STAFFORD STREET (NORTHBOUND), DERBY
WHEN: 28 July 2024 to 01 September 2024 (Sundays Only)
WHERE: Stafford Street (Northbound), from its junction with Uttoxeter New Road Roundabout to its junction with Friar Gate
REASON: Telecom works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Uttoxeter New Road – Circumnavigate Hospital Island – Uttoxeter New Road – Uttoxeter Old Road – Ashbourne Road – Friar Gate – Bridge Street – Agard Street – Ford Street
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will be re-opened as soon as the work is finished. Anyone needing further information should ring Brendan Horgan on (01332) 641824 or email traffic.management@derby.gov.uk
