U6520 Sea Crest Road - Temporary Road Closure

U6520 SEA CREST ROAD, NEWBIGGIN BY THE SEA
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6520 Sea Crest Road Newbiggin by the Sea from its point outside of house number 28 Sea Crest Road heading north for a distance of 195 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 22nd July 2024 until the 22nd February 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd July 2024 until the 2nd September 2024 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 22nd February 2025.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carryout resurfacing works in the carriageway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
