(Various Roads, Bath And North East Somerset) (Prohibition Of Stopping, Waiting, Loading And Parking Places) (Variation No.3) Order 2024
Notice Is Given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council proposes to make an order under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will introduce the following variations to restrictions in Bath and North East Somerset:-
1. Proposed parking charges for on-street paid for parking locations in 2024/25 and 2025/26.
2. Proposed introduction of parking charges for motorcycles at on-street paid for parking at locations.
Bath & North East Somerset Council also proposes to introduce the requirement for motorcycles to hold a valid permit when parking in on-street permit parking locations and to link the daily charge for hotel permit use to the vehicle’s emissions according to DVLA records.
Full details of the proposals, together with a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the order, may be requested, free of charge, by contacting by email council_connect@bathnes.gov.uk. Objections and representations with respect to the proposal, together with the grounds on which they are made must be sent by 8th August 2024, by email to parking_consultation@bathnes.gov.uk or in writing to the address below.
