HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) yn bwriadu, ymhen o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn cyflwyno dros dro’r cyfyngiadau a amlinellir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae’r Gorchymyn yn hanfodol oherwydd lled annigonol y briffordd er mwyn cynnal mynediad i gerbydau yn ystod y gwaith rhoi wyneb newydd ar ffordd, ac er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd. Daw’r Gorchymyn hwn i rym ar 01/08/2024 a bydd yn weithredol am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, pa un bynnag ddaw gyntaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith sydd wedi’i gynllunio yn digwydd rhwng yr oriau 09:00 a 17:00 ar 01/08/2024. Amserlen - Ni chaiff unrhyw unigolyn achosi i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ar hyd Heol-y-Felin, Heol-y-Cyw, Peny-bont ar Ogwr o 2 Sea View i Bryn Chwith am bellter o 100 metr. Gall cerbydau ddilyn llwybr arall drwy Heol-y-Felin, Bryn Garn Road, B4280 Croesfan Bryn Chwith, High Street, Heol-y-Felin ac yn groes i’r cyfeiriad arall. Bydd mynediad yn cael ei ddarparu drwy’r cyfyngiad ar gyfer yr Heddlu, Gwasanaethau Tân ac Ambiwlans fydd yn ymateb i unrhyw argyfyngau. Cynhelir mynediad i gerddwyr at bob eiddo o fewn y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau a ddiffinnir drwy gydol y cyfnod cau. Fodd bynnag, ni fydd y cyfyngiad yn weithredol ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau ag a nodir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion traffig a ragnodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL 
(HEOL Y FELIN, HEOL Y CYW) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Heol Y Cyw in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restriction set out in the schedule below. The Order is necessary due to insufficient width of carriageway to maintain vehicular access during lamp posts renewal works and is in the interest of public safety. The Order will come into force on the 01/08/2024 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 on 01/08/2024. Schedule -No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Heol Y Felin, Heol Y Cyw, Bridgend, from 2 Sea View to Bryn Chwith for a distance of 100 Meters. The alternative route for vehicles is via Heol-Y-Felin, Bryn Garn Road, B4280 Brynchwith Crossing, High Street, Heol-Y-Felin and Vice Versa. Access will be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure. The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
