SECTIONS 117 - 121 DISPOSAL OF LAND FORMING PART OF CHARITABLE TRUST
Notice is hereby given for the purposes of section 121(2) of the Charities Act 2011 that Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council, as Trustee of The Grosvenor Park (charity number 509212) propose after the expiry of the period mentioned below to dispose of certain land namely 0.016ha. (0.39 acres) land at Grosvenor Park Terrace, as shown edged red on the attached plan.
The proposal is to dispose of the land by way of a 150 year lease, at market value, to Royal Chester Rowing Club, a local charity, for its charitable purposes.
The Trustee considers that the disposal of the land will not result in loss of amenity for the Park and the sale proceeds will be used to make improvements to the Park.
This is a formal notice given in so far as the above-described parcel of land consists or forms part of designated land included in a charitable trust for the purposes of sections 117 - 119 of the Charities Act 2011.
