ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED)

PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 1R/1994 (PART) LICHFIELD CITY TEMPORARY CLOSURE

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the section of Public Footpath No. 1R/1994 Lichfield City from a point approximately 12m from its junction with Tamworth Road for approximately 18m in a southerly direction.

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to the construction of a canal lift bridge during canal restoration works.

This Order will come into operation on 21/7/24 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier.
