What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(DRYLAW CRESCENT & HOUSE O’HILL ROAD)

(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024 – TEMP/24/103

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate footway buildout installation works, no person shall:

(a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle; &

(b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of: (i) Drylaw Cres, from the eastern kerbline of House O’Hill Rd, north-eastwards for 12m; & (ii) House O’Hill Rd, from the northern kerbline of Telford Rd, northwards for 25m, provided that no more than one of the measures described in these sections shall be enacted at any time.

Existing restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b). The alternative routes for vehicular traffic are via: (i) Drylaw Cres – House O’Hill Rd, Telford Rd & Drylaw Cres; & (ii) House O’Hill Rd – Telford Rd/Hillhouse Rd, House O’Hill Ave & House O’Hill Rd.

The order shall have effect from 15/7/24 to 5/8/24.
