What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF 
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
QUARRY WOOD ROAD (PART), 
COOKHAM DEAN (TEMPORARY 
PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Quarry Wood Road from its junction with Grubwood Lane to a point 10 metres east of A404 overbridge.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the proposed Order is via Grubwood Lane, Hockett Lane, Winter Hill Road, A308 Marlow Road, Marlow Road, Bisham Road and Quarry Wood Road. 

The purpose of the Order is to facilitate works in the said road, namely carriageway repairs, and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public. 

The Order shall be in operation daily between 09.00 hours and 15.00 hours fromWednesday 17 July until Friday 19 July 2024. 

There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
