A120 Trunk Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic For Cabling Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(A) and (7)
THE A120 TRUNK ROAD (DUNMOW SOUTH INTERCHANGE, GREAT DUNMOW TO BLAKE END INTERCHANGE, BRAINTREE, ESSEX)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited(a) has made an Order on the A120 in the County of Essex to enable nearby third-party overhead cabling works to be carried out in safety.
The works will take place over two nights (10pm to 5am weekends only), starting on, or after, Saturday 20 July 2024.
The effect of the Order will be to close the A120 eastbound and westbound carriageways from Dunmow South Interchange to Blake End Interchange including the eastbound entry slip road at Dunmow South Interchange.
Eastbound traffic will be diverted via the B1256; westbound traffic via the B1417 and B1256.
The Order will come into force on 15 July 2024 and may continue in force until the works detailed above have been completed, or for a maximum duration of eighteen months, whichever is the earlier.
