What is happening?

The West Lothian Council (Murieston West Road, Livingston) (Temporary Road Restriction And Traffic Regulation) Order (No. 2) 2024 - TTO/24/272

The Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that the road and footpaths noted in the Schedule below will be closed for the period specified to enable toucan crossing works to be carried out. Traffic and pedestrians will be diverted as undernoted. Further information is available from the Roads Manager on 01506 280000.

Schedule - Road And Footpath Closures

Road Closure: Murieston West Road, Livingston: Between Bankton Square and Murieston East Road

Diversion Route: Westbound traffic via Murieston East Road, Williamston Interchange, Bankton Road A71, Crofthead Interchange, Crofthead Roundabout and Murieston West Road; Eastbound traffic via: Murieston West Road, Crofthead Roundabout, Crofthead Interchange, Bankton Road A71, Williamston Interchange, Dedridge East Road and Murieston East Road.

Footpath closures:
(1) Robin’s Lane between Murieston West Road and entrance path into Livingston South Station Car Park; and
(2) Footpath at 117 East Bankton Place between Murieston West Road and path access into Wester Bankton

Diversion Route:
(1) Robin’s Lane via Footpath from Livingston South Station - Livingston South Station Access - Footpath from Car Park to Livingston South - Footpath Near Murieston Trail to Livingston - Murieston West Road; and
(2) Footpath at 117 East Bankton Place via Footpath Between 23 And 24 Wester Bankton - Wester Bankton - Murieston West Road
