(Elland Road/Tilbury Road Footbridge, Beeston, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrian Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway a closure is required to allow waterproofing and resurfacing of the bridge deck. Therefore, Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No pedestrian shall proceed along the Elland Road/ Tilbury Road Footbridge, Beeston, Leeds in the Beeston & Holbeck ward between its junctions with Tilbury Road and Elland Road. A diversionary route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be available via: Elland Road, Recreation Avenue, Recreation Place, Recreation Terrace, Top Moor Side, Cemetery Road, Elland Road and vice-versa. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 29th July 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 13th September 2024. The closure will be in place for 24 hrs on each day. A Coultate. Ref: RC308802.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make the Leeds City Council (Live at Kirkstall Abbey) (Temporary Road Closures and Restrictions) Order 2024 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public due increased vehicular and pedestrian traffic in connection with the holding of Live at Kirkstall Abbey event in the grounds of Kirkstall Abbey. The effect of Order will be to introduce the following prohibitions and restrictions during the times and on the days specified: 1. Road Closures – 21:00 hrs to 00:00 hrs, Friday 26th, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July 2024 (i) Abbey Road – From De Lacy Mount to the entrance to The Vesper Gate (ii) Abbey Walk – From Abbey Road to Vesper Lane. 2. Mandatory Right Turn/Prohibition of Left Turn – 21:00 hrs to 00:00 hrs, Friday 26th, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July 2024 (i)Vesper Gate Drive – No left turn onto Abbey Road (ii) Vesper Walk – No left turn onto Abbey Road (iii) Abbeydale Way – No left turn onto Abbey Road. 3. (Westbury Place North Footbridge, Hunslet, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Footbridge Closure required for waterproofing and resurfacing works Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Westbury Place North Footbridge, Hunslet, Leeds in the Hunslet and Riverside Ward between its junctions with Westbury Place North and Parnaby Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: M621 J7 Join W, Parnaby Road, Middleton Road, Pepper Road, Clayton Road, Pepper Road Footpath, Westbury Place North. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 5th August 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The Council of the City of Leeds has made the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH LEEDS NO.120) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to close to pedestrians the length of Definitive Map Footpath Leeds No.120 – from its junction with Definitive Bridleway Leeds No.310 to its junction with Barnbow Lane. The diversion routes are via (i) Non-Definitive Restricted Byway LEEDS 119, Non-Definitive Byway LEEDS, Manston Lane, crossing over the Manston Lane roundabout using the pedestrian crossing and along the A6120 in a Northernly direction towards Leeds Road Roundabout using the segregated footway facility; or (ii) a diversion underneath the Cock Beck Bridge and onto the segregated footway facility to proceed along the A6120 in a Northernly direction towards Leeds Road Roundabout or Southernly direction towards Manston Lane Roundabout. The Order is necessary to enable works to be undertaken on or near the footpath in connection with the construction of a new bridleway. The Order will come into operation on 15 July 2024 and may continue in effect until 15 January 2025, or until such time as the works are complete, which is anticipated to be 12 August 2024. (Speed Limit) (No.7) Order 2024
Leeds City Council proposes to make the above order under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce:- The effect of the proposed Order will be to implement 20mph Zone on the following lengths of road for their entire length: Boothroyd Drive, Cherry Court, Cherry Grove, Claremont Crescent, Naylor Garth, Pickard Bank, Rawling Way, Scott Hall Drive, Sharp Mews, Walkers Mount, Walkers Road and Walkers Yard.
