Hulme Street - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make the following Order in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Salford City Council (Hulme Street, Salford) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024
The Order will close Hulme Street, at the junction of Oldfield Road and the diversion route will be via: Oldfield Road - Upper Wharf Street - Back Hulme Street, and vice versa.
The Order is due to come into operationon 29th July 2024and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.The works are expected to be completed by 18th August 2024. The closure will be in place 24 hours each day.
A copy of the proposed Order and plan of the area may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm inclusive.
