HIGH PEAK VARIOUS ROADS
WHEN: 26 July to11 October 2024 (5 days within this period)
WHERE:
1.Unnamed Road from Macclesfield Road to St Johns Road, Buxton between the Jct. with St Johns Road and the Jct. with Macclesfield Road, Buxton.
2. Bernard Street, Glossop between the Jct. with Arundel Street and the Jct. with Edward Street.
3. Church Lane, New Mills between the Jct. with Hyde Bank Road and the Jct. with A6015 Church Road, New Mills.
4. Swallow House Lane, Hayfield between the Jct. with Bank Vale Road and the Jct. with Glossop Road, Hayfield.
5. Lightwood Road, Buxton between the Jct. with Corbar Road and the Jct. with Landsdowne Road.
6. Park Road, Buxton from the west: at its junction with A5004 Manchester Road to outside No.89. east: at its junction with A5004 Manchester Road to outside No. 7.
7. Wellgate, Glossop between the Jct. with Church Street South and the Jct. with Wesley Street.
REASON: To facilitate Micro Asphalt Carriageway Resurfacing and associated works. Please note that the roads listed will only be closed for a maximum of 5 individual days during the date range specified.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Local diversion routes apply:
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
