(Temporary Closure) and The County of Worcester

(School Lane, Alvechurch) (One-Way) Order 1958

(Temporary Suspension) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U23242 School Lane from its junction with C2001 Bear Hill for a distance of 80 metres in a northeasterly direction and to temporarily suspend The County of Worcester (School Lane, Alvechurch) (One-Way) Order 1958 to allow two-way traffic to be able to access residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2001 Bear Hill, C2291 Swan Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days (24hrs). Commencing: 15 July 2024.

(U32442 Tilehouse Lane, Wythall)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U32424 Tilehouse Lane from its junction with U32441 Haslucks Green Road for a distance of 230 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U32444 Haslucks Green Road, U32424 Truemans Heath Lane, C2041 Hollywood Lane, C2041 Lea Green Lane into Solihull and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days between 5 August 2024 and 16 August 2024.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2033 Flying Horse Lane from its junction with U30009 Berrowhill Lane to its junction with B4090 Droitwich Road.

Reason: Tree maintenance by National Grid.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U30009 Berrowhill Lane, B4090 Proitwich Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 1 August 2024.

(U3210 Ash Lane, Alvechurch)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U3210 Ash Lane from its junction with Woodpecker Close (NSG ref. 04702909) to its junction with U23205 Stonehouse Lane.

Reason: Tree maintenance by National Grid.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U3210 Ash Lane (part), U23205 Stonehouse Lane, U2304 Watery Lane, C2036 Lea End Lane, A441 Birmingham Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 6 August 2024.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2038 Astwood Lane from its junction with U30008 Swansbrook Lane for a distance of 142 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: To renew existing BT pole by HSC Worcester Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2038 High Street, B4090 Alcester Road, U30013 Rockhill Lane, C2038 Astwood Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 5 August 2024.

(Link Footpath F30446 Feckenham Road,

(Parallel to Swinburne Road), Redditch)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F30446 Feckenham Road (parallel to Swinburne Road) from its junction with B4504 Windmill Drive to its junction with U30011 Mason Road.

Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U30011 Mason Road, U30315 Tennyson Road, U30327 Feckenham Road, U30338 Feckenham Road Service Road, Link Footpath F30444 Feckenham Road (o/s No 148) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days Commencing: 5 August 2024.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U32200 Rickyard Lane from its junction with C2123 Moons Moat Drive to its junction with U31167 Robinson Mews.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2123 Moons Moat Drive, A4023 Coventry Highway Roundabout, B4497 Paper Mill Way, U3103 Tanhouse Lane, U31166 Melbury Way, U32205 Knowle Close, U32200 Rickyard Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 months. Anticipated duration: 4 days between 2 August 2024 and 12 August 2024.

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1: U23409 Wilmore Lane from its junction with C2036 Silver Street for a distance of 210 metres in a south westerly direction. Closure 2: U23403 Batemans Lane from its junction with C2036 Silver Street for a distance of 395 metres in a northerly direction. Closure 3: C2036 Silver Street from its junction with C2040 Middle Lane for a distance of 525 metres in an easterly direction. Closure 4: C2040 Middle Lane from its junction with C2036 Silver Street for a distance of 280 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.

Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: C2038 Feckenham Road from its junction with A441 Evesham Road to its junction with Queen Street (NSG ref 31100592). Closure 2: U30022 Foregate Street from its junction with C2038 Feckenham Road for a distance of 20 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: New gas main by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion 1 Closure 1: C2038 Feckenham Road: C2038 Feckenham Road (part), A441 Evesham Road, C2038 Church Road, C2038 Feckenham Road (part) and vice versa. Diversion 2 Closure 2: U30022 Foregate Street (Clockwise): U30023 Butler Street, U30027 High Street, then join Diversion 1.
