Church Street - Temporary Road Closure To Facilitate The Renewal Of Severn Trent Water Apparatus
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE CHURCH STREET, HORSLEY
WHEN: 29 July to 31 July 2024
WHERE: Church Street, Horsley between its Jct. with Smalley Mill Road and its Jct. with The Dovecote / French Lane.
REASON: To facilitate the renewal of Severn Trent Water apparatus.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Church Street, Horsley Road, Woodhouse Road, Lady Lea Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
