HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B195 BIRCHALL LANE, COLE GREEN/WELWYN GARDEN CITY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B195 Birchall Lane, Cole Green/Welwyn Garden City from its junction with the A414 Cole Green Bypass roundabout north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with B195 Black Fan Road, a distance of approximately 1240m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A414 (Cole Green Bypass/ Hertingfordbury Road), A119 (Cross Lane/North Road), B1000 (Welwyn Road/Hertford Road/Waterside), A1000 Mundells and B195 Black Fan Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 25 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HANDSIDE LANE, WELWYN GARDEN CITY) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Handside Lane, Welwyn Garden City from a point 25m north east of its junction with Springfields north eastwards for a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Handside Lane, Lemsford Lane, Stanborough Green, Marsden Road and Handside Lane. The Order is needed because gas service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 29 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN A1000 GREAT NORTH ROAD, WELHAM GREEN) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A1000 Great North Road, Welham Green from a point 812m north west of its junction with the Dixons Hill Road roundabout north westwards, south westwards, north westwards and northwards for a distance of approximately 498m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via A1000 Great North Road, A1001 (South Way/Roehyde Way), the A1(M), A414 (Great North Road/ Hertford Road) and A1000 (Hertford Road/Great North Road) or via A1000 Great North Road, A1001 (South Way/Roehyde Way/Comet Way), A414 (Great North Road/Hertford Road) and A1000 (Hertford Road/Great North Road).
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Wellington Drive, Welwyn Garden City from its junction with the Bericot Way/Sylvan Way roundabout north westwards and south westwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Bericot Way and Douglas Way. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 29 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-1. that length of A1000 Great North Road, Hatfield/Welham Green from its junction with the B197 French Horn Lane roundabout south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with A1001 South Way, a distance of approximately 2015m. An alternative route will be via A1000 (Great North Road/Hertford Road), A414 (Hertford Road/Mount Pleasant Lane/Great North Road) and A1001 (CometWay/Roehyde/Way/South Way) or via A1001 (South Way/Roehyde Way/Comet Way), A414 (Great North Road/ Hertford Road) and A1000 (Hertford Road/Great North Road) or via A1000 (Great North Road/Hertford Road), A414 (Hertford Road/ Mount Pleasant Lane/Great North Road) and A1001 (Comet Way/ Roehyde Way)

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of B195 Bridge Road, Welwyn Garden City from its junction with A1000 Broadwater Road north westwards and south westwards to its junction with the B195 The Campus/Osborn Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 465m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via A1000 Broadwater Road, A6129 (Broadwater Road/ Stanborough Road), B653 Stanborough Road, B197 Great North Road and B195 (Valley Road/Bridge Road/The Campus/The Campus roundabout/The Campus) or via B195 (The Campus/Bridge Road/Valley Road), B197 Great North Road, B653 Stanborough Road, A6129 (Stanborough Road/Broadwater Road), A1000 Broadwater Road and B195 Bridge Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 15 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN POTTERS BAR) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Auckland Road, Potters Bar from its junction with Mimms Hall Road south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with B556 Mutton Lane, a distance of approximately 716m. An alternative route will be via Mimms Hall Road, Mutton Lane and B556 Mutton Lane.
2. that length of Cambridge Drive, Potters Bar from its junction with Auckland Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 25m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of Dugdale Hill Lane, Potters Bar from its junction with Vicarage Close south westwards to its junction with Santers Lane, a distance of approximately 612m.
An alternative route will be via Dugdale Hill Lane, Mutton Lane, B556 Mutton Lane, Baker Street and Santers Lane.
4. that length of Wellesey Crescent, Potters Bar from its junction with Dugdale Hill Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 25m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
5. that length of Honeywood Close, Potters Bar from its westernmost junction with Coningsby Drive north eastwards, south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
6. that length of Coningsby Drive, Potters Bar from its westernmost junction with Honeywood Close south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
7. that length of Oakmere Lane/Chace Avenue, Potters Bar from its junction with A1000 High Street south eastwards, south westwards, south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Carpenter Way, a distance of approximately 1124m.
An alternative route will be via A1000 High Street, A111 Southgate Road, Highview Gardens, Gregory Avenue, Park View and Carpenter Way.
8. that length of Sunnybank Road, Potters Bar from its southernmost junction with Daleside Drive north eastwards, south eastwards, south westwards, north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 1171m. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
9. that length of Meadow Way, Potters Bar from its westernmost junction with Sunnybank Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 157m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
10. the service road fronting Nos.7-11 Sunnybank Road, Potters Bar from its westernmost junction with Sunnybank Road north westwards, north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 45m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 15 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HARMER GREEN LANE, DIGSWELL) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Harmer Green Lane, Digswell from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.60 Harmer Green Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 27m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Harmer Green Lane, New Road and Harmer Green Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 15 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of School Lane, Welwyn from its junction with Ayot St Peter Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 1098m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Ayot St Peter Road, Ayot Green Lane, B197 Digswell Hill, London Road, High Street and School Lane. The Order is needed because the replacement of existing utility poles is proposed to be executed near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 16 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the service road fronting Nos.288-358 Mutton Lane, Potters Bar from its junction with Dugdale Hill Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via the service road fronting Nos.288-358 Mutton Lane, B556 Mutton Lane and the service road fronting Nos.288-358 Mutton Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
