What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH KEARSLEY 024) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO. ) ORDER 2024

The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice.

The effect which will be operative from 1st August 2024 and will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath Kearsley 024 commencing from Kearsley Road point A at grid reference SD 76349 05542 in a generally north by east then north east direction to point B near Prestolee Road at grid reference SD 76599 05853; as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1Ker024 over a total distance of approximately 419 metres.

An alternative route will be made available. Details of the route will be published on site.

The Order is necessary to facilitate the construction of a battery energy storage scheme and will continue for a period of 6 months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier. Ref: LS/RST/093648)

THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH LITTLE LEVER 060) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO. ) ORDER 2024

The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice.

The effect which will be operative from 22nd July 2024 and will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath Little Lever 060 commencing from Booth Road point A at grid reference SD 75950 06949 in a generally east southeast then southwest by south then southeast direction to point B Meadow Close at grid reference SD 75976 06887: as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1LiL060 over a total distance of approximately 89 metres.

An alternative route will be available commencing from Booth Road point A at grid reference SD 75950 06949 then Meadow Close point B at grid reference SD 75976 06887.

The Order is necessary to facilitate excavation works and will continue for a period of 5 days or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier. (Ref: LS/RST/093797)

THE BOLTON (RESTRICTED BYWAY BOLTON 077) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO. ) ORDER 2024

The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice.

The effect which will be operative from 3rd August 2024 and will prohibit all traffic from using Restricted Byway Bolton 077 commencing from a point on the junction of Sharples Park and Oldham's Lane point A at grid reference SD 70807 11830 in a generally southwest by west direction to point B on Moss Lea at the junction with Sharples Meadows at grid reference SD 70662 11734; as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1Bol077 over a total distance of approximately 174 metres.

An alternative route will be made available.

Details of the route will be published on site. The Order is necessary to facilitate the installation of temporary schooling units and will continue for a period of 1 day. (Ref: LS/RST/093739)
