Broad Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(BROAD LANE, BRACKNELL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in a south westerly direction into:

a) Broad Lane, Bracknell between its junctions with A329 Running Horse Roundabout to Rowley Close.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via A329 London Road, A3095 Church Road, A3095 Bagshot Road, and Broad Lane.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while South East Water complete essential maintenance to the network. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 06th August 2024, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the closure will be in place from the 06th August 2024 - 09th August 2024 between 20:00 - 05:00 daily, all other times highway to remain open.

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road. Dated - 05th July 2024
