What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WIHDSOR & MAIDENHEAD

(B3020 HIGH STREET (PART), SUNNINGHILL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of the B3020 High Street from southern boundary of Number 64A High Street northward for 42 metres.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via B3020 High Street, B3020 Bagshot Road, A3020 Sunninghill Road, A30 London Road, A322 Bracknell Road, A332 Swinley Road, A332 Kings Ride, A329 High Street, A329 London Road, B3020 Sunninghill Road and B3020 High Street.

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works in the said road by, namely gas mains reinforcement works and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public. The proposed Order shall be in operation from 00:01 hours on Tuesday the 30 July until 23:59 hours on Thursday 15 August 2024. There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
