What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING
PROPOSED ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) BAY ORDER - ALMA ROAD, ANTHONY ROAD, ARMSTRONG ROAD, COURT FARM ROAD, DALE ROAD, ESKDALE AVENUE, FERMOY ROAD, FRANCIS ROAD, GURNELL GROVE, JENNER AVENUE, JERMER DRIVE, MERTON AVENUE, MONTAGUE ROAD, OAKFIELDS GARDENS, PALMERSTON ROAD, RUSSELL ROAD.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, proposes to make: 
The Ealing (Parking Places) (Charging Points for Electric Vehicles) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*; The Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*; 
The Ealing (Gypsy Corner) (Residents Parking Places) (No. 1, 2006) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*; 
The Ealing (Greenford Station) (Residents Parking Places) (No. 1, 2011) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*; 
The Ealing (The Vale) (Residents Parking Places) (No. 1, 2011) (Amendment) Order 202*; The Ealing (Bedford Park Extension) (Residents Parking Places) (No. 1, 2003) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*; 
The Ealing (South Acton - Zone SA) (Residents Parking Places) (No. 1, 2017) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*, under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the proposed Orders would be to introduce: (a) 3 EV bays on ALMA ROAD, the south-west side opp nos. 6-12 Alma Road; 
(b) 4 EV bays on ANTHONY ROAD, the south-east side, near its junction with Leaver Lane; (c) 4 EV bays on ARMSTRONG ROAD, the north-west side, opp its junction with Second Avenue; (d) 4 EV bays on COURT FARM ROAD, the south-west side, near its junction with Fort Road; (e) 4 EV bays on DALE ROAD, the north-east side, near its junction with Keats Way; (f) 2 EV bays on ESKDALE AVENUE, the north-east side, opp nos. 76 and 78 Eskdale Avenue; (g) 4 EV bays on FERMOY ROAD, the north-east side, near its junction with Morning Road; (h) 2 EV bays on FRANCIS ROAD, the east side, near its junction with Sarsfield Road; 
(i) 4 EV bays on GURNELL GROVE, the north-west side, opp nos. 29 to 44 Gurnell Grove; (j) 4 EV bays on JENNER AVENUE, the north-west side, west of its junction with Lister Close; (k) 4 EV bays on JEYMER DRIVE, the south-west side, south-east of its junction with Long Drive; (l) 4 EV bays on MERTON AVENUE, the north-west side, north-east of its junction with Whitton Avenue West; (m) 4 EV bays on MONTAGUE ROAD, the south-west side, south-east of its junction with Cambridge Road; (n) 4 EV bays on OAKFIELDS GARDENS, the east side, near its junction with Locarno Road; (o) 4 EV bays on PALMERSTON ROAD, the south-west side, near its junction with Bollo Bridge Road; (p) 4 EV bays on RUSSELL ROAD, the east side, near its junction with Halsbury Road East; (q) 1 EV bay on ST ALBANS AVENUE, the north-west side, opp nos. 89 and 91 St Albans Avenue; (r) amend existing permit holders parking places on: (i) ARMSTRONG ROAD
(ii) JENNER AVENUE; (iii) JEYMER DRIVE; (iv) PALMERSTON ROAD; (v) ST ALBANS AVENUE; (s) amend the existing waiting restrictions on ALMA ROAD, to accommodate the EV bays.

4. The proposed Orders, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders including plans, are available by e-mail from ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or by inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made, or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

5. Any objections or other representations about either of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing by e-mail to ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or by post to Highways Service, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL, quoting reference P048-2024 until the 31 July 2024

All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should include the address of the author.
