TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C695 FELSHAM ROAD, BRADFIELD ST GEORGE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C695 Felsham Road, Bradfield St George from no. 2 for 30 metres southbound to facilitate repairs to a water chamber, cover and frame. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Cockfield Road, Felsham Road, Bury Road, Water Lane, the A134 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/07/2024 - 19/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C695 FELSHAM ROAD, BRADFIELD ST GEORGE

It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/07/2024 - 19/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C654 GAZELEY ROAD, MOULTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C654 Gazeley Road, Moulton from 160 metres east of the junction with Brookside for 80 metres eastbound to facilitate remedial works to rectify defect. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the Gazeley Road, the B1085, the B1506, Mill Road, Moulton Road, Gazeley Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 08/07/2024 - 09/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1009 ST LAWRENCE STREET, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1009 St Lawrence Street, Ipswich from Butter Market for 20 metres northbound to facilitate manhole roof repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Butter Market, Princes Street, Friars Street, Falcon Street, Dogs Head Street, Upper Brook Street, Northgate Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 08/07/2024 - 12/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1075 Grove Lane, Ipswich from no. 83 to Back Hamlet to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

1. Tomline Road, Derby Road, Felixstowe Road, Fore Hamlet, Fore Street, Slade Street, Star Lane, Waterworks Street, Bond Street, St Margarets Street, Woodbridge Road, Argyle Street and no vice versa.

2. Grimwade Street, Fore Street, Fore Hamlet, Felixstowe Road, Derby Road, Tomline Road and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 7pm on 08/07/2024 - 6.30am on 09/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS ON PART OF THE B1458, THE A1156, THE A1189 AND THE C26 VARIOUS ROADS, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the following phases:

1. the B1458 Duke Street northbound, Ipswich from University Avenue to Fore Hamlet

2. the B1458 Duke Street northbound, Ipswich from University Avenue to Fore Hamlet, the A1156 Fore Hamlet westbound, Ipswich from Pownall Road to Duke Street and the A1156 Fore Street westbound, Ipswich from Fore Hamlet to Neptune Square.

This is to facilitate gas replacement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

1. Phase 1 Route 1: Ransome Way, Felixstowe Road, Bishops Hill, Fore Hamlet, Fore Street and no vice versa.

Phase 1 Route 2: Fore Street, Slade Street, Star Lane, Grimwade Street, Fore Street and no vice versa.

2. Ransome way, Felixstowe Road, Bixley Road, Woodbridge Road east, Colchester Road, Valley Road, Norwich Road, Chevallier Street, Yarmouth Road, West End Road, Chancery Road, Grafton Way, Bridge Street, Star Lane, Grimwade Street, Fore Street and no vice versa.

For the duration of these closures there will be a suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight restrictions on the following roads:

• A1156 Felixstowe Road, Ipswich

• A1156 Bishops Hill, Ipswich

• A1156 Fore Hamlet, Ipswich

• A1156 Fore Street, Ipswich

• A1189 Nacton Road, Ipswich and

• C26 Landseer Road, Ipswich

It is intended that these measures will operate from:

1. 08/07/2024 - 14/07/2024

2. 15/07/2024 - 13/09/2024 If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE A1088 STOW LANE AND IXWORTH ROAD AND C556 THE STREET, PAKENHAM, STOWLANGTOFT AND HUNSTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the:

• A1088 Stow Lane, Pakenham

• A1088 Ixworth Road, Stowlangtoft from Stow Lane to Bull Road.

This is to facilitate a bridge replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A1088, the A14, the A143 and vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will be a 40mph speed restriction on the:

• C556 The Street, Hunston from The Street to Stowlangtoft Park and from Mill Lane to Hunston Road.

• C556 The Street, Stowlangtoft from Street Farm to The Street, Hunston.

It is intended that these measures will operate from 08/07/2024 - 02/12/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C712 Acton Lane, Chilton from Reynolds Way for 350 metres north eastbound to facilitate fibre ducting installation. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Acton Lane, Newmans Green, Sudbury Road, High Street, Waldingfield Road, Ten Tree Road, the B1115, the A134, Acton Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 08/07/2024 - 12/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be the A134, the A1141, the A1071, the A134 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 08/07/2024 - 13/07/2024 from 8pm - 5am. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE A143 BURY ROAD, DEPDEN

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order for a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the A143 Bury Road, Depden from Rookery Farm to the junction with Silver Tree Way to facilitate safe use of site access. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/07/2024 - 31/03/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

• Southbound anti-clockwise: the A1088, the A1066, the A11, London Road, Thetford, the A134, the A143 and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 08/07/2024 - 18/07/2024 from 8pm - 5am with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
