The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)

The County of Cornwall (Road From Callington Road To Honicombe Corner, Harrowbarrow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Harrowbarrow. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th August 2024 to 7th August 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Callington Road To Honicombe Corner, Harrowbarrow between grid references SX 40532 70406 and SX 40936 70440.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Albaston. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th August 2024 to 7th August 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road affected - Cemetery Road, Albaston for its entire length.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Gunnislake. This prohibition is necessary for ductin and blockage clearing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th August 2024 to 9th August 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1430, weekdays only.

Road affected - Chapel Street, Gunnislake between property known as Trewyn and the junction of Hooper Street.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 8th July 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Gunnislake. This prohibition is necessary for ducting installation works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th July 2024 to 31st July 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road affected - Crockers Row, Gunnislake for its entire length.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Millbrook. This prohibition is necessary for solar panel installation works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th August 2024 to 10th September 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Dawes Lane, Millbrook for its entire length.

This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th August 2024 to 7th August 2024. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Dominick. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th August 2024 to 9th August 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Gunnislake. This prohibition is necessary for ducting and blockage clearing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th August 2024 to 9th August 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road affected - Kingswood Road, Gunnislake between the junction of Calstock Road and property known as Malindi Pine Ridge.

(Lansallos Street, Landaviddy Lane and Raphael Road, Polperro) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Polperro. This prohibition is necessary for essential cleaning of sewer pipes to mitigate flooding and pollution and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th August 2024 to 7th August 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 2300, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Lansallos Street and Landaviddy Lane, Polperro for their entire lengths and Raphael Road, Polperro between the junction of Landaviddy Lane and property known as Landaviddy Cottage.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order Order dated 8th July 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Chilsworthy. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd July 2024 to 26th July 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Merricott Farm To Wheal Rose, Chilsworthy between grid reference SX 40760 72212 and property known as Whealrose Cottage.

The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 26th November 2023 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Plaidy Lane, East Looe between grid reference SX 26239:53729 and property named Raven Rock.

The Order which commenced on the 27th November 2023 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 30th August 2024.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works to clear landslip are being executed on or near the road.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

(Road From Plymouth Road To The Laurels, Menheniot)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 8th July 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Menheniot. This prohibition is necessary for overhead cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 23rd July 2024 to 24th July 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Plymouth Road To The Laurels, Menheniot between grid reference SX 28179 62964 and property known as Scawns Lodge.
