Rykmansford Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - RYKMANSFORD ROAD, ELVETHAM HEATH, HART
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Rykmansford Road between its junction with Elvetham Heath Way Roundabout and its junction with Marrow Meade.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Elvetham Heath Way, Marrow Meade
DURATION OF ORDER: from 8th July 2024 for a period of 8 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required until 28th February 2025, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Thames Water to carry out ongoing repairs.
