Kingsland - Temporary Road Closure due to Fibre Connection Works.
What is happening?

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1039 From Bicton House To Kingsland, Kingsland, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1039 From Bicton House To Kingsland, Kingsland, between Croft Lane and Bicton House. Grid Ref: 346444 / 263818. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4360 onto the A4110 onto the B4362 onto the C1044 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to new fibre connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 16th of July 2024 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 4 nights (1700hrs -0000hrs).
