Cort Crescent - Temporary Restrictions To Zebra Crossing Construction Works

THE LEICESTER (CORT CRESCENT) (TEMPORARY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicester City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, for the following anticipated period of time to:
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles on Cort Crescent between its junctions with Gallards Hill (southern junction) and with Hockley Farm Road from 7.00am on Sunday 14th July 2024 until 11.59pm on Sunday 25th August 2024.
Diversion route: Woodshawe Rise, Braunstone Lane, Hand Avenue, Hockley Farm Road.
Suspend existing one-way restriction on Gallards Hill between its junctions with Wellinger Road and with Cort Crescent from 7.00am on Sunday 14th July 2024 until 11.59pm on Sunday 25th August 2024.
This order is necessary due to zebra crossing construction works taking place and to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public.
This Order will come into effect on the 14th July 2024 and will continue in force for up to 18 months, or until the order is no longer deemed necessary, whichever is the earlier.
Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
