HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA (“y Cyngor”) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â’r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:

1. 1.Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 18fed Gorffennaf 2024 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw’n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw’r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau ar 18fed Gorffennaf 2024, gan weithredu rhwng 09:00 a 17:00.
2. 2.Mae’r gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol gan y bydd y briffordd yn cael ei lleihau i lôn sengl gyda’r defnydd o oleuadau traffig dros dro a reolir i ganiatáu MJ Quinn i wneud gwaith Polio yn ddiogel yn y lleoliad.
3. 3.Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd gostwng y cyflymder dros dro ar ran o’r B4521 Fferm Trebella i Ynysgynwraidd, Ynysgynwraidd, Sir Fynwy. Gostyngiad yn y terfyn cyflymder o 60mya i 40mya.

Gostyngiad terfyn cyflymder yn dechrau ~1.05km o’r gyffordd â’r R36 Celyn-Kiln i’r Boot am ~0.60km i gyfeiriad y dwyrain.

1. 4.Gellir enwi’r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro B4521 Fferm Trebella i Ynysgynwraidd, Sir Fynwy, 2024.
2. 5.Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Intends to make an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

1. 1.The Order shall come into operation on the 18th July 2024 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 18th of July 2024, operating between 09:00 – 17:00.
2. 2.The order is necessary as the highway will be reduced to a single lane with the use controlled temporary traffic signals to allow for MJ Quinn poling works to take place safely at the location.
3. 3.The effect of the order will be to temporarily reduce the speed limit on a section of the B4521 Trebella Farm to Skenfrith, Skenfrith, Monmouthshire. A reduction of the speed limit from 60mph to 40mph.

Speed limit reduction starting ~1.05km from its junction with R36 Celyn-Kiln to the Boot for ~0.60km in a easterly direction.

1. 4.This order may be cited as the B4521 Trebella Farm to Skenfrith, Skenfrith, Monmouthshire Speed Limit Reduction Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2024
2. 5.By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
