TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2024 Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984

Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

I) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

ACLE - Beighton Road from 85m southwest of its junction with Hillcrest for 100m south westwards to facilitate electrical disconnection works from 15th to 23rd July 2024 (may continue until 3rd September 2024). Alternative route is via: Beighton Road, Leffins Lane, Reedham Road, Acle Road, Porters Road, Grove Road, Southwood Road, High Road, Coxhill Road, Low Farm Road (Beighton, Cantley, Limpenhoe and Southwood, Freethorpe, Acle).

GREAT YARMOUTH - Middle Road East from its junction with Swantons Road for 20m northwards to facilitate clearing carriageway blockage from 15th to 17th July 2024 (may continue until 28th August 2024). Alternative route is via: Swanstons Road, Admiralty Road, Sutton Road, Middle Road West.

HELLESDON AND HORSFORD - Reepham Road from its junction with Middletons Lane to its junction with Brewery Lane to facilitate surface dressing works from 15th to 25th Juy 2024 only whilst signs indicating closures are in place (may continue until 5th September 2024). Alternative route is via: Reepham Road, Middletons Lane, A140 Holt Road/Cromer Road, A1270 Broadland Northway, Brewery Lane, Reepham Road (Horsham St. Faith and Newton St. Faith, Hellesdon, Horsford).

HOLT - Station Road from its junction with The Paddocks to its junction with Kerridge Way to facilitate hydrant repairs from 15th to 17th July 2024 (may continue until 28th August 2024). Alternative route is via: Station Road, A148 Holt Bypass, A148 Norwich Road, High Street, Market Place.

NORTH WALSHAM - Marshgate from 150m northeast of its junction with Bluebell Road for 50m north eastwards to faciltate water hydrant from 15th to 17th July 2024 (may continue until 28th August 2024). Alternative route is via: Marshgate, Manor Road, Anchor Road.

NORTH WALSHAM - 1) U10301 Bradfield Road from its junction with A149 from its junction with A149 Cromer Road to its junction with Link Road; and 2) U19663 Bradfield Road/ U14480 Lyngate Road to its junction with Link Road to its junction with Bradfield Road; and 3) U19018 Bradfield Road to its junction with Southrepps Road; and 4) U19018 Pond Road from its junction with Southrepps Road to its junction with The Hill; and 5) U19018/C424 Pond Road from its junction with The Hill to its junction with Southrepps Road to facilitate broadband spire works from 15th July to 23rd August 2024 only whilst signs indicate closures are in place (may continue until the 23rd February 2025). SALHOUSE - Thieves Lane from 467m east of its junction wth Honeycombe Road for 350m eastwards to facilitate cabling works on 17th July 2024 (may continue 28th August 2024). SKEYTON - Norwich Road from 50m north of its junction with Common Road for 50m northwards to facilitate water stop tap replacement works from 15th to 17th July 2024 (may continue until 28th August 2024). SPROWSTON - Blackwell Avenue from its junction with Lambert Road for 100m Blackwell Avenue from its junction with Lambert Road for 100m southwards to faciltate Anglian Water new connection works from 15th to 17th July 2024 (may continue until 28th August 2024). Alternative route is via: Blackwel Avenue, Fairstead Road, Alford Grove, A1042 Mousehold Lane.

ALBURGH - C204 Station Road from its junction with Denton Low Road for 1187m north-westwards to facilitate installation of new fibre network by City Fibre from 15th to 19th July 2024 (may continue until the 30th August 2024). Alternative route is via: Tunbeck Road, A143 Bungay Road, Denton Low Road (Wortwell, Alburgh).

BINTREE - C228 Foulsham Road from 240m northeast of ts junction wth A1067 Fakenham Road for 50m north-eastwards to facilitate new connection works by Anglian Water from 16th to 19th July 2024 (may continue until the 30th August 2024). Alternative route is via: C228 Foulsham Road, A1067 Fakenham Road, C227 Foxley Road, C228 Bintree Road and vice versa (Foulsham, Bintree).

BRADENHAM - C126 Bradenham Lane from 1000m south of its junction with Haggards Way for 50m southwards to facilitate fire hydrant repair works by Anglian Water from 16th to 18th July 2024 (may continue until the 29th August 2024). COSTESSEY - A1074 Dereham Road from its junction with C162 Longwater Lane for 1100m eastwards to facilitate resurfacing works by Norfolk County Council from 15th to 20th July 2024 (may continue until the 31st August 2024). HOLME HALE - Lower Road from 350m east of its junction with C117 Necton Road for 50m eastwards to facilitate water connection works by Anglian Water from 17th to 19th July 2024 (may continue until the 30th August 2024). NORTH ELMHAM - C243 Gateley from ts junction with B1110 Broom Green Road to its junction with Ryburgh Road to facilitate carriageway patching works by Norfolk County Council from 15th to 18th Juy 2024 (may continue until the 29th August 2024). Alternative route is via: B1110 Broom Green Road, 35103 Great Heath Road, 35186 Ryburgh Road and vice versa.

REDENHALL WITH HARLESTON - C517 Needham Road from 260m southwest of its junction with B1116 Shotford Road for 50m south-westwards to facilitate Anglian Water communication pipe works from 15th to 17th July 2024 (may continue until the 28th August 2024). SHOTESHAM - U78033 Baxters Lane from its junction wth C203 Heath Road to its junction with U78033 Frylands Road to facilitate maintenance and verge repairs by Norfolk County Council from 15th to 16th July 2024 (may continue until the 27th August 2024). Alternative route is via: Heath Road, Honeypot Lane, Woodton Road, Fylands Road (Brooke, Shotesham, Howe).

THETFORD - Mundford Road from its junction wth Wyatt Way to its junction with Churchill Road to facilitate resurfacing works by Norfolk County Council from 13th to 14th July 2024 (may continue until the 25th August 2024). Alternative route is via: Mundford Road, A11, A1075 (Croxton, Kilverstone, Thetford).

TIBENHAM - C349 Heywood Road from its junction with B1134 Long Row for 456m southwards to facilitate carriageway patching by Norfolk County Council on 18th July 2024 (may continue until the 29th August 2024). Alternative route is via: B1134 Long Row, C642 Common Road, C348 Wash Lane and vice versa (Tibenham, Gissing, Burston and Shimpling).

WYMONDHAM - Longlands Drive from its junction with C700 Chapel Lane to its junction with Hubbards Close to facilitate new connection by Anglian Water from 15th to 17th July 2024 (may continue until the 28th August 2024). Aternatve route s via: 78414 Longlands Drive, C700 Chapel Lane, B1135 Tuttles Lane West and vice versa.

EAST RUDHAM - C101 Station Road from 330m west of its junction with C333 Rudham Road for 280m westwards to facilitate drainage installation by Norfolk County Council from 15th to 19th July 2024 (may continue until the 30th August 2024). HUNSTANTON - U20031 Austin Street from ts junction wth A149 Cromer Road for 40m westwards to facilitate repair to communication pipe by Anglian Water from 15th to 17th July 2024 (may continue until the 28th August 2024). KING'S LYNN - Footpath between 15 and 21 Seathwaite Road from its junction C101 Station Road from 330m west of its junction with C333 Rudham Road for 280m westwards to facilitate drainage installation by Norfolk County Council from 15th to 19th July 2024 (may continue until the 30th August 2024). FORNCETT - U76107 Wash Lane from its junction with C344 Aslacton Road for 200m eastwards to facilitate cabling works by BT from 9th to 11th July 2024 (may continue until the 22nd August 2024). TIVETSHALL - A140 from 165m north of its junction with Rectory Road to a point 1050m south of its junction with C360 Semere Lane to facilitate resurfacing works. The Order continues the provisions of the Notice dated 28th June 2024 that the Road will continue to be temporarily closed from 2nd to 18th July 2024 (previously 28th June to 1st July 2024), but may continue to be closed/restricted until the 29th August 2024. JOHN - Church Road from its junction with Old Church Road for 100m northwards to facilitate tree removal works by Norfolk County Council on 9th July 2024 only whilst signs indicating closure are in place (may continue until the 20th August 2024). KING'S LYNN - Gayton Road from its junction with Orchard Lane to its junction with Queensway to facilitate Norfolk County Council carriageway resurfacing works between 19:30 and 06:00 from 17th to 26th July 2024 only whilst signs indicating the closure are in place (may continue until 6th September 2024). WALSOKEN - Walton Road from 110m south of its junction with Green Dyke for 100m southwards to facilitate safe access for BT workers on 16th July 2024 only whilst signs indicating closure are in place (may continue until the 27th August 2024). Alternative route is via: Walton Road, Lynn Road, School Road, Salts Road, Wisbech Road (Walsoken, West Walton).

BRUMSTEAD - Common Road from 546m northeast of its junction with B1159 Stalham Road for 280m north eastwards to facilitate carriageway surfacing works from 11th Juy to 12th July 2024 (may continue until 23rd August 2024). Alternative route is via: Stalham Road, Old Rectory Road.

CROSTWICK - Dow Lane from its junction with B1150 North Walsham Road to its junction with Granny Bards Lane to facilitate carriageway subsidence repairs from 8th to 10th July 2024 (may continue until 21st August 2024). FELTHORPE - Upgate from ts junction with Reepham Road to its junction with Felthorpe Road to faciltate damaged carriageway surfacing works from 8th to 9th July 2024 (may continue until 20th August 2024). Alternative route is via: Felthorpe Road, Reepham Road (Felthorpe, Attlebridge).

FRETTENHAM - Hall Lane from 300m east of its junction with Stanninghall Road for 50m eastwards to facilitate the installation of new cover, chamber and frame from 8th to 10th July 2024 (may continue until 21st August 2024). HONING - North Walsham Road from 300m north of its junction with Corner Common Road for 50m northwards to facilitate fire hydrant frame and cover replacement works from 8th to 10th July 2024 (may continue until 21st August 2024). Alternative route is via: North Walsham Road, Broom Lane, Hall Road, East Ruston Road, North Walsham (Witton, Honing).

POTTER HEIGHAM - Potter Heigham footpath FP20 from its junction with Decoy Road to its junction with Potter Heigham footpath FP14 to facilitate flood defence repairs and maintenance works from 8th July 2024 to 6th January 2025 (may continue until 7th January 2025). Alternate route is via: N/A.

SPROWSTON - 1) Tills Road from its southwest junction with Lowry Cole Close to its north-east junction with Lowry Cole Close and 2) Lowry Cole Close from its southwest junction with Tills Road to its northeast junction with Tills Road to facilitate footway resurfacing and kerb replacement from 8th July to 22nd November 2024 only whilst signs indicating closures are in place (may continue until 7th January 2026). THORPE ST. ANDREW - Caston Road from 40m west of its junction with South Hill Road for 100m westwards to facilitate BT pole replacement works on the 11th July 2024 (may continue until 22nd August 2024). Alternative route is via: Caston Road, South Hill Road, Belmore Road.

TRUNCH - Gunthorpe Lane from 30m south of its junction with Mundesley Road for 60m south westwards to facilitate telegraph pole replacement works between 08:30 and 15:30 on the 8th July 2024 (may continue until 19th August 2024). Alternative route is via: Mundesley Road, Knapton Road.

WITTON AND RIDLINGTON (NORTH WALSHAM) - Heath Road from 630m northwest of its junction with Mill Road for 50m north westwards to facilitate fire hydrant frame and cover replacement works from 8th to 10th July 2024 (may continue until 21st August 2024). Alternative route is via: Fox Hill, Mill Road, Munns Lane, Old Lane, The Street, Heath Road (East Ruston, Witton, Honing, Walcott). DISS - B1077 Denmark Street from 75m south of its junction with the U71669 Saint Nicholas Street for 50m southwards to facilitate new water connection works by Anglian Water from 9th to 11th July 2024 (may continue until the 22nd August 2024). EAST CARLETON AND KETTERINGHAM - U78003 Ketteringham Lane from its junction with U78003 Low Street for 172m northwards to faciltate pole replacement works by BT on 9th July 2024 only whilst signs indicating closure are in place (may continue until the 20th August 2024). Alternative route is via: Ketteringham Lane, Norwich Road, Ketts Oak, Norwich Common, Tuttles Lane East, Harts Farm Road, Avenue Road, Station Road, Ayton Road, Browick Road, High Ash Road, High Street, Low Street (Hethersett, Wymondham, East Carleton and Ketteringham).

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months for vehicular highway or 6 months for non-vehicular highway.
