What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Penn Ave, Chapmans Crescent, Chesham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Penn Ave, Chapmans Crescent for approx 534M. Alternative route: Chartridge Ln, Lowndes Ave, Bellingdon Rd, Asheridge Rd, Darvell Drv and vice versa.The closure is required whilst resurfacing works commence on 15 July 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 July 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Various Rds, Chiltern) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in the below Rds. Snowhill Cottages, Ashley Green, Heath End Rd, Great Kingshill, Berkhampstead Rd, Chesham, High St, Amersham and Orchard Ln, Prestwood. The closure is required whilst surfacing works commence on 18 July 2024.

PLEASE NOTE: of this multi-order is to allow coordination of a number of works, and flexibility given their weather dependant nature. The actual times that each Rd will be closed for will be much less than this and could be either day or night works only. The full details will be publicised on One.Network when confirmed, with signs on the affected Rd erected two weeks before the closure. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18 July 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Chartridge Ln, Chartridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Chartridge Ln for approx 158M.

Alternative route: Village Rd, Ballinger Rd, Kings Ln, Chesham Rd, Hyde Heath Rd, Missenden Rd, Church St, St Marys Way and vice versa.

The closure is required whilst UKPN works commences on 19 August 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 19 August 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration. (Dukes Place, Marlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Dukes Place for approx 158M.

Alternative route: Riley Rd, Oxford Rd, West St and vice versa.

The closure is required whilst new underground ducting commences on 29 July 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 29 July 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Coldmoorholme Ln, Well End) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Coldmoorholme Ln for approx 18M. The closure is required whilst Thames Water works commences on 7 August 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 7 August 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Chilton Close, Tylers Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Chilton Close for approx 24M. The closure is required whilst new water connection commences on 6 August 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 6 August 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(BRd St, Chesham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in BRd St for approx 15M. The closure is required whilst Openreach works commences on 7 August 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 7 August 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Kiln Ln, Cores End) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Kiln Ln for approx 337M. Alternative route: Kiln Ln, Brookbank, Town Ln, Wooburn Town, Wash Hill, Widmoor and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach works commences on 12 August 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 August 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
